The Safe Routes Partnership works nationally to advance policies, programs, and resources that support safe, active, and healthy travel for children and communities. Through national policy advocacy, the organization promotes funding and policies that prioritize walking and biking to school, and provides webinars and trainings to equip professionals, advocates, and decision-makers with the knowledge and tools to implement effective Safe Routes to School programs. The Safe Routes Partnership also develops resources for the field, creating guides, toolkits, and model policies to support active transportation initiatives. By sharing best practices, the Safe Routes Partnership highlights successful programs, case studies, and innovative strategies to inspire and inform communities nationwide.

The Safe Routes Partnership supports a national network of Safe Routes to School programs and professionals, fostering connections and collaboration to strengthen initiatives across the country. Through technical assistance and consulting, it works with community, regional, state, and national partners to help them develop and implement effective Safe Routes to School strategies, ensuring that all children have safe and equitable access to walking and biking opportunities.
